Mandatory NOC for Metro 3 Construction Activities
The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has announced that obtaining prior permission, or a No Objection Certificate (NOC), is essential for any construction within the influence zone of Metro Line 3. This regulation is in place to ensure that new construction does not compromise the safety or structural integrity of the underground Metro system and its infrastructure.
All NOC applications will be subject to technical scrutiny and verification by a designated agency to ensure compliance with safety standards.
MMRC said a 30% reduction in the applicable fee would be offered for revised proposals submitted for revalidation of an earlier NOC. For proposals that have already received an NOC but require revalidation, a concession will be available. The notice has been issued by the director of planning and real estate development department of the MMRC.
