Mandatory NOC for Metro 3 Construction Projects
The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) has announced that prior permission, or a No Objection Certificate (NOC), is essential for any construction activities within the influence zone of the Metro Line 3. This regulation is designed to protect the safety and structural integrity of the underground metro system and its surrounding infrastructure.
NOC applications will be subjected to a thorough technical review and verification by a designated agency to ensure compliance with safety standards.
MMRC said a 30% reduction in the applicable fee would be offered for revised proposals submitted for revalidation of an earlier NOC. For proposals that have already received an NOC but require revalidation, a concession will be available. Applicants can access detailed guidelines, the application procedure and other relevant information on MMRC’s website. The notice has been issued by the director (Planning and Real Estate Development) of MMRC.
