Mumbai: Vanrai police arrested two people in connection with a case where a 29-year-old man was assaulted following an argument about loud music during a Ganpati procession at Goregaon (E). Adwait took to Instagram to narrate the incident that occurred around 10.20 pm on Tuesday. “For 15 to 20 seconds, I was numb and couldn’t understand what was going on.
Madkaikar said, in a video post on Instagram, that a man stepped out of the car and was joined by four to five others. I found myself lying on the road with my nose bleeding…my trouser was caked in blood,” Madkaikar said in the video post. After an FIR was registered on charges of “causing grievous hurt”, police tracked down two of the four accused and arrested them. Police said the owner of the car was not in the vehicle when the incident occurred.

An argument ensued. The group surrounded him and began hitting him. The next morning, he approached Vanrai police station and lodged a complaint. They have been identified as Dilip and Aryan Sharma.
