Arrests Made in Dahi Handi Incident
On September 5, a member of a Govinda troupe sustained injuries during Dahi Handi celebrations and was subsequently hospitalized. Following the incident, law enforcement arrested Gharat on September 7 and Gavit on September 12. Other accused individuals, including Sankhe, reported to the police on September 13. To date, a total of 23 people have been arrested in connection with this case.
Palghar : A court on Friday sent suspended Shiv Sena district chief Kundan Sankhe and 21 other accused to judicial custody in connection with the ruckus at Relief Hospital in Palghar city.
