The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Hyderabad : As political heat intensifies over the Janwada farmhouse and speculation grows over possible visits by Congress leaders to the property, its owner, Pradeep Reddy, on Friday asserted that the farmhouse belongs entirely to him and clarified that BRS working president KT Rama Rao has no ownership stake in it.

Speaking to reporters, Pradeep Reddy said KTR had been his friend since childhood and had only taken the farmhouse on lease. With the property increasingly featuring in political debates, Pradeep Reddy said he was prepared to respond to any queries from the authorities through the proper legal process. “If the govt or any competent revenue officials have doubts or requires clarification, they may issue notices to him directly and seek an explanation,” Pradeep Reddy said. If sought by the revenue authorities, he said, he was willing to furnish all relevant documents and information through the prescribed legal channels.

The ownership of the land, however, remained solely with him, he maintained. He further stated that there were no disputes relating to the farmhouse land and that the property enjoyed a clear legal title. His remarks come amid continuing political exchanges over the Janwada farmhouse and reports that Congress leaders may visit the property as part of their scrutiny of land-related issues. Pradeep Reddy maintained that the matter should be examined based on land records and legal documents rather than political allegations.
