Gorakhpur : BJP MP Ravi Kishan on Friday said the party’s organisational meeting in Gorakhpur would focus on taking Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s and chief minister Yogi Adityanath ’s development agenda to every household ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election.
He said the party would highlight development works undertaken since 2017 and communicate the govt’s achievements to people across the state.
Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, which was attended by party MPs, MLAs and office-bearers, Kishan said workers will receive a detailed roadmap for public outreach and organisational activities. Taking a swipe at videos and social media content targeting BJP leaders, Kishan said such campaigns reflected “frustration and desperation” within the opposition camp. “Workers will go door-to-door and inform people about the changes brought by the Modi and Yogi govts,” he said.
Referring to the Samajwadi Party, the Gorakhpur MP alleged that opposition leaders were spreading negativity instead of presenting a development-oriented vision. He claimed the BJP would focus on issues such as development, welfare schemes and public safety while reaching out to voters. Ravi Kishan maintained that BJP cadres, legislators and parliamentarians were energised and prepared for the next electoral battle, adding that the meeting would help streamline the party’s strategy and grassroots outreach efforts.
