The deceased was identified as Ajay Chauhan (42), a resident of Gholai Nagar, while the injured man was identified as Sridal Chauhan (32), also a resident of the same area. A police officer said the accident occurred at a blind spot on the turn, where visibility for motorists is limited. The container driver, identified as Baban Dongre, was detained by the police following the accident. Kalwa police and traffic department officials reached the spot and conducted a panchnama.
