Agartala: BJP ’s ally in Tripura govt, TIPRA Motha MLA Ranjit Debbarma, suggested a review of constituencies facing “friendly fights” between alliance partners in upcoming Village Committee elections of Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC). In a Facebook post, Debbarma urged NDA to resolve disputes in these districts through dialogue, encouraging local functionaries and grassroots cadres to collaborate. BJP and TIPRA Motha recently decided to contest Village Committee elections under NDA banner. grassroots differences remain While both parties agreed on seat-sharing and withdrawing overlapping nominations. Debbarma noted some candidates filed nominations without consulting party bosses, but assured withdrawals would address these concerns.
