New Delhi: A 23-year-old man died after he suddenly collapsed on track during a Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PEMT) at Delhi Police Academy (DPA) in Wazirabad Monday morning, police said.
Information about the incident was received at Sonia Vihar police station around 11.11 am from JPC Hospital. The man had been brought to the hospital’s emergency department and was declared brought dead by doctors. The deceased was identified as Saurabh Kumar , a resident of Neta Nagar in Village Salamatpur, Anupshahr.

Police said the body has been sent to GTB Hospital for post-mortem examination to ascertain the cause of death. Further investigation and proceedings are underway, police said. Download the TOI App.
