Nashik: A chemical factory caught fire in Jalgaon ’s Bhusawal on the night between Monday and Tuesday. two cows near the factory were found dead While no person was injured or dead in the blaze. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The fire brigade centre of the Bhusawal civic administration received a call around 12.10 am on Tuesday. Firefighters continued operations until the blaze was extinguished at 6.30 am.
A fire brigade official, however, said the fire may have been caused by a short circuit. However, considering the intensity of the fire in the factory spread over close to an acre, four more fire tenders were pressed into service,” the official said. “The factory was closed at the time of the incident owing to which there was no injury or death of anyone besides the two cows,” the official said.
“The factory in the MIDC area of Bhusawal under the Bazarpeth police station caught fire around midnight. Soon upon getting a call, a fire tender was pressed into service. Fire tenders were called from five to six other centres, while five tenders from Bhusawal fire centre made five to six rounds each to refill water.
