Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh govt on Tuesday transferred or reassigned 18 IPS officers, with changes made in several key police wings, including the CID , Economic Offences Wing (EOW), regional intelligence, ATS, vigilance, technical services and training establishments.
A total of 11 additional SPs, who were promoted to IPS cadre, were reassigned in this set of orders, with changes involving the ATS, CID, Vigilance, EOW, Technical Services, SSF, PAC, Traffic Directorate, Food Cell and police training institutions. Satish Kumar, who was serving as superintendent of police, attached to the DGP headquarters, was posted as commandant, 1st Battalion SSF, Lucknow. Mahesh Singh Atri was transferred from SP, Police Training School (PTS), Moradabad, to SP, Regional Intelligence, Bareilly. The reshuffle includes postings in Lucknow as well as Sitapur, Prayagraj, Mathura, Moradabad and Chunar in Mirzapur.
