A 23-year-old man from Kalamna, Nagpur, died by suicide on Monday. Authorities report that the incident occurred at his home following a series of arguments with his girlfriend over the phone. Police are investigating the circumstances leading to this tragic event.
His father, Anil Prasad Shukla, a security supervisor, told police that Prem had been in a relationship with a 20-year-old woman for four years. The deceased, Prem Shukla, lived with his family on Bharatwada Road.
Prem was a heavy drinker and smoker, according to the father’s statement. He used to frequently fight with his girlfriend on the phone. The family asked the young woman to block Prem’s number. Every time the woman blocked his number, Prem persuaded her to unblock it in a few days.
Tragic Death Following Relationship Breakdown
Prem, a man in distress, took his own life after a woman he had been in contact with blocked his number. Authorities reported that he was found unresponsive and was taken to Mayo Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Kalamna police have registered the incident as an accidental death and have sent the body for a postmortem examination. Currently, no evidence of foul play has been identified in the case.
