Kolkata: The state govt will host Durga Puja related exhibition and cultural programmes in seven places across the state on the day of Mahalaya. This programme will be held besides the grand programme at Eden Gardens on Mahalaya in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to be present.

CM Suvendu Adhikari on Wednesday held a meeting at Nabanna Sabhaghar in the presence of his cabinet ministers and state govt officials concerned on the govt plans for celebration of Durga Puja with pomp and grandeur where it was decided that cultural programmes will be held at Digha, Durgapur, Siliguri, Bishnupur, Malda, Berhampore and Nandigram.
