UPDF member Shubhranshu Dixit announced a commitment to facilitate free travel from Mumbai to Kashi for 11,000 people.
Speaking at a diaspora investment event, Jaiswal said investors could consider townships designed around shared cultural and social values, and called for greater participation in projects catering to senior citizens. He said Uttar Pradesh’s law and order situation had improved and that reforms in property registration had made investments safer. Among the measures highlighted were reductions in stamp charges on agreements between close relatives and on tenancy-related agreements, which he said had helped reduce property disputes. UPDF chairperson Pankaj Jaiswal said the state’s development model was rooted in Sanatan values and sustainability. He cited the Maha Kumbh as an example of how a religious gathering could generate broader economic activity and said Uttar Pradesh was emerging as a destination for Sanatan tourism.
He also pointed to reforms requiring verification of ownership rights before property registration. The minister claimed stamp revenue in the state had risen more than threefold since Yogi Adityanath govt took office, despite rationalisation of some stamp duties. Invest UP officials interacted with diaspora investors and business leaders.
