Bengaluru’s Purple Metro Line is set to become an arts trail as linear returns for its second edition this weekend. The event moves across genres and regions – from punk rock and techno to contemporary dance, Baul music and Yakshagana. This year’s lineup includes artistes and groups from Bengaluru as well as from Indore, coastal Karnataka, West Bengal, and Trivandrum. The festival also extends beyond ticketed performances. Free activities across the city include literary walks, nature trails at Bengaluru University, and community art sessions in Ulsoor, giving visitors a chance to explore the city between shows.
