Kochi : Central Police registered a case against two men who allegedly attacked a man and damaged his car near Town Hall in the early hours of Thursday.
The incident occurred around 12.15am, according to the complaint. The complainant and his friends were travelling in a car when a man, identified as Saddique, allegedly walked carelessly in front of the vehicle while speaking on the phone. The complainant reportedly honked at him. Following this, he called his friend to the spot. The two then allegedly used a baseball bat to smash the front windscreen of the complainant’s car. When the complainant questioned them, the men allegedly attacked him with the baseball bat. The complaint states that the first accused poked the complainant with the bat, struck him on his right palm and right shoulder, and punched him on the left side of his head, causing injuries.
