Kanpur: A 35-year-old man died and his wife was critically injured after a speeding DCM truck rammed their motorcycle on the Etawah-Bareilly Highway in Farrukhabad district late Thursday. The deceased, Sonu, a resident of Nagla Sudama village in Mainpuri district, was returning home with his wife, Khushi (25), when the DCM hit their motorcycle near Murhas, according to police. The DCM subsequently collided with a tractor and then rammed into a container near Sakwai, police said. Police reached the spot after receiving information and rushed the couple to Lohia Hospital, where doctors declared Sonu dead. Khushi is undergoing treatment and remains in critical condition.
