Because he knew he wanted to remain in Kansas City and wanted to build a home specifically around his family’s lifestyle, architectural Digest reported that Mahomes bought the land. Because it was created after he committed his long-term future to Kansas City, mahomes has also maintained a luxury home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for the offseason, but the Missouri property carries a different significance. Because he knew he wanted to remain in the area, architectural Digest noted that Mahomes bought the land in 2020 and built the home specifically.
Architectural Digest reported that the court was transformed into a football-themed party space for Mahomes’ son Bronze’s first birthday, complete with football-related decorations and picnic areas.
“I actually decided to get the land, to get ready to build that right when I signed my contract here in Kansas City,” Mahomes said on Netflix’s Quarterback . The estate also features a swim-up bar and firepit , according to Architectural Digest. Patrick Mahomes didn’t buy a mansion. A large swimming pool sits alongside the mansion, surrounded by outdoor entertainment areas. One of the property’s standout interior features is a display area for Mahomes’ collection of trophies and memorabilia. There is also an enormous built-in aquarium and bar in one of the home’s reception areas. And then comes perhaps the most personal room in the house: Mahomes’ closet.
