Where to find the Birthday Sprite in Fortnite The Birthday Sprite carries “Rare” rarity, which makes it noticeably easier to find than higher-tier Sprites like the Klombo variant. Fortnite is marking its ninth birthday with a new collectible: the Birthday Sprite. Unlike most Sprites that are shaped like characters or creatures, this one is shaped like a slice of cake, a fitting nod to the milestone it’s marking. The Sprite has a special ability that can give you a chance to get birthday slices from chests. The two most reliable ways to get one are searching Rare Chests and entering Cheat Codes, both of which can be found inside Temple Vaults. For a secondary route, you can trade Sprites with friends, or simply eliminate an opponent who already has one equipped. The Birthday Sprite gives players a chance to spawn Cake Slices when opening chests, with that chance increasing as the Sprite levels up. At maximum level, eliminating opponents also spawns Cake Slices directly. The exception is the Bounty Hunter Birthday variant, which only gains XP from eliminations. Attending scheduled Sprite Events in general is one of the most efficient ways to speed up collection.
