The video showed them riding a bike without helmets, too. A person travelling behind them had recorded the incident and uploaded the video online. Traffic police arrested the trio and registered a case for traffic violations and other offences in connection with the incident. Download the TOI App.
Personnel from Anna Nagar Traffic Investigation Wing traced the scooter using its registration number and identified the three women as residents of Chetpet, Shenoy Nagar and Kolathur.
