Two workers died and another suffered serious burns after a grill they were installing touched an overhead high-tension power line in Kanpur
Police said the three men, who undertook aluminium and grill installation work, had gone to a flat to install a grill. Rawatpur station in-charge Kamlesh Rai said police are examining the circumstances surrounding the incident, including the position of the power line, and will take further action based on the outcome of the investigation. a part of it touched the high-tension power line passing over the apartment building While taking measurements and moving the structure upwards. The grill became live, causing severe burn injuries to all three workers. Rawatpur police reached the spot and found Abhishek and Mithlesh dead. Their bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and their families were informed.
