Following the incident, Delhi Police registered a case and began an investigation into the assault. Police arrested one person and detained a few others for questioning in connection with the incident. The police are also looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident and are likely to examine available evidence and statements of people who may have witnessed the altercation.
