Villagers alleged that the loud noise and vibrations caused by the daily rock-blasting operations are affecting their mental well-being and causing distress among pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants, and elderly residents. Demanding immediate intervention, the residents urged the govt to assess the damage and take steps to ensure their safety.
