Police said the 37-year-old accused, Ram Padhwal, is a resident of Buldhana. Around 12.30 pm, police received a call about an individual creating a ruckus on the Western Express Highway under Pandurang Wadi metro station on the southbound arm between Mira Road and Dahisar. Mumbai: An FIR was registered against a visibly inebriated man by Dahisar police after he allegedly blocked the road with his car, flashed passersby and verbally abused and threatened the police. The incident occurred Sunday afternoon. When an MSF jawan went to the location, he found an inebriated motorist who had parked his car on the road and taken off his trousers. He was flashing at passersby. The MSF jawan approached him but was verbally abused and threatened. He then called up traffic cops for assistance. Traffic constable Samadhan Gaikwad reached the location on his two-wheeler. He confronted the man, who tried to hurl a stone at him and slapped him. The man also stopped vehicles on the highway. He threatened Gaikwad and hurled expletives at him. The MSF jawan filmed the incident on his phone. Eventually, reinforcements were called from Dahisar police station. The man was overpowered and taken to the police station, where he was identified.
