Mangaluru : RSS functionary Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat expressed his dissatisfaction regarding the formation of a special investigation team (SIT) for the reinvestigation of the the 2012 Dharmasthala rape and murder case.
The victim’s soul has been wandering for 14 years.
Responding to a journalist’s query, Bhat said, “We have a slight doubt about the SIT. we suspect that not all the officers in it are entirely impartial While the formation of the SIT is a good move. Mangaluru City Police commissioner Sudheer Kumar Reddy is a good commissioner, but we have our doubts about the rest of the team. The officials must conduct an honest investigation. No other case has been quite like this; they must do the job of delivering justice.”

They might even be plotting to book me under the Goonda Act, which is likely why they served this notice for questioning,” Bhat said. “They are trying to file a case against me, but it is not a big deal for me. I speak to many people on the phone. Can they summon me for an inquiry just for making a phone call? Did I tell Bharat Kumdel to assault or kill anyone? Have police found any such conversation? They have issued me a notice.
