New Delhi: Delhi govt Monday launched Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal, a single-window digital platform aimed at simplifying and streamlining approvals, registrations, licences and other regulatory services for around 8 lakh businesses and entrepreneurs, helping them cut repeated visits to govt offices.
Delhi govt would continue to add more services to the portal, simplify processes and strengthen digital transformation,” said CM Rekha Gupta, adding that the portal will be further expanded through service integration, process simplification and digital transformation. “In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s Make in India vision, Delhi govt is working to create a business environment in the capital where entrepreneurs and investors do not have to deal with unnecessary procedural complexities and can instead focus more on expanding their businesses, driving innovation and creating jobs. Delhi Udyog Mitra Portal is an integrated digital platform aimed at strengthening Delhi’s ‘ease of doing business’ ecosystem by providing entrepreneurs, traders, MSMEs, startups, industrial units and investors easier access to govt services and approvals through a single interface. The initiative seeks to facilitate investment, promote transparent administration and simplify regulatory processes.
Delhi industries minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that so far, 15 departments and boards have been integrated with the portal.
“100 services across 21 departments will be onboarded by next month,” he added.
