The couple married in 2014 and Naomi became part of the Anoaʻi family. She became a two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion in 2017. One of Naomi’s most memorable moments came in 2017 when she introduced a customized championship belt featuring LED lights. She defeated Deonna Purrazzo at Slammiversary in 2023 to win the Knockouts World Championship. Her TNA run lasted into early 2024. Trinity held the championship for 182 days before losing it to Jordynne Grace. The pair won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in December 2024.
She later lost the championship to Natalya at SummerSlam.
The move became part of her popular “Glow” character. Naomi has also been closely connected to one of wrestling’s most famous families through her marriage to Jimmy Uso. After a long WWE career, a spell in TNA and several major championship wins, attention has again turned to her future inside the WWE ring. Naomi gradually developed her singles career. Her second reign began when she defeated Alexa Bliss at Elimination Chamber. Naomi later moved to Impact Wrestling, now known as TNA Wrestling, where she performed as Trinity. She returned to the SmackDown roster and later formed a tag team with Bianca Belair.
Born Trinity LaShawn McCray on November 30, 1987, in Sanford, Florida, Naomi began her career in dance before entering professional wrestling. Naomi signed with WWE in August 2009 and began her wrestling career in the company’s developmental system. She graduated from Oviedo High School and worked as a dancer for the Orlando Magic basketball team. She also performed as a background dancer for rapper Flo Rida. She competed in Florida Championship Wrestling and became the inaugural FCW Divas Champion.
