Prayagraj: A 13-year-old boy riding a bicycle died after being hit by a speeding tractor near Bhola ka Purwa under Dhoomanganj police station area on Tuesday morning, police said.

The deceased, identified as Prince , a resident of Dhoomanganj, died on the spot. Upon being alerted, senior police officials, including ACP Dhoomanganj, along with police forces, rushed to the spot and pacified the agitating locals. Senior cops assured the crowd that strict action would be taken against the accused driver. The deceased was a resident of Meerapatti area.
