Kanpur: Three members of a family were injured when the roof, a wall and a tin shed of their mud house collapsed in Paharpur village of Auraiya district around 4 am on Tuesday.
One of the victims, Angad (45), sustained serious injuries, while his wife Sunita (40) and daughter Saumya (12) suffered minor injuries, according to police. Gupta said the injured were undergoing treatment and that further investigation into the incident is underway. Villagers rushed to the spot after hearing their screams and began rescue efforts before informing Sahar police.
