The exercise is aimed at improving mobility and ease of living for persons with disabilities. Gorakhpur : Chief minister Yogi Adityanath will attend a ceremony for distribution of artificial limbs and assistive devices here on Wednesday.
As part of the initiative, 664 assistive devices will be distributed among 509 beneficiaries, officials said. The distribution will include motorised tricycles for 127 persons, e-tricycles for 25 and conventional tricycles for 70 beneficiaries. The programme will be held at Gorakhpur Club in Civil Lines. The beneficiaries will receive equipment based on their specific disabilities and requirements.
A total of 319 smart canes and Braille kits will be distributed among 155 beneficiaries, while 90 persons will receive hearing aids.
