Jio celebrates 10 years with JioBharat offer: 4G phone for Rs 299
The offer comes as the company marks 10 years of connecting India. The limited-period offer aims to help 2G feature phone users move to 4G by offering an eligible JioBharat 4G phone for Rs 1,499, along with six months of complimentary recharge benefits. Jio has announced a special Jio Anniversary Offer on JioBharat.
The package includes 14GB of data every month and unlimited HD voice calling, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
What JioBharat offers beyond calls and messages
Jio says the offer is part of its 10-year anniversary celebrations and is intended to make 4G connectivity more accessible to feature phone users. The JioBharat 4G phone comes with a 2.4-inch display and a 2,000mAh battery. JioBharat is designed to provide features beyond the calling and messaging typically associated with traditional 2G feature phones. The phone provides access to Jio’s digital services and supports 4G connectivity. The phone also supports UPI payments through JioPay, along with payment alerts and Sound Box functionality. For safety and family connectivity, JioBharat includes Jio Safety Shield features, including safe-calling and location-monitoring capabilities. It is designed to provide access to Jio’s 4G network while retaining the form factor and basic usage experience associated with feature phones.
