Belagavi : Non-functional microphones and a failed air-conditioning system disrupted the Belagavi City Corporation (BCC) general body meeting Wednesday, drawing sharp criticism from ruling BJP and opposition members over the council hall’s poor upkeep.
Members said these too were of poor quality and hampered the proceedings. None of the tabletop microphones worked properly, forcing officials to arrange a few handheld microphones.
