The mobile app directed registration towards the official website with an error message asking to visit the treasury office,” a family pension holder said. “Officials will demonstrate step-by-step registration, login, digital life certificate submission, and troubleshooting of common errors,” said an official release. The measure follows complaints from several pensioners about difficulties registering on the app. “My son downloaded the mobile app with great hope. Despite entering the PPO (Pension Payment Order) number and mobile number, the registration failed. However, low digital literacy and technical glitches have left many struggling. In response, the treasury office has organised a hands-on training session for all drawing and disbursing officers (DDOs), along with pensioners and family pensioners. The senior treasury office has appealed to all DDOs and pensioners in the district to attend the workshop and get their doubts cleared on the spot. Download the TOI App.
