Kochi: The RPF crime intelligence branch arrested a 29-year-old Odisha native with 4.4kg of ganja at Aluva railway station. The accused is Sailedu Kunadora, of Gokarnapur, Digapahandi in Ganjam district, Odisha.
Kunadora arrived at Aluva on train No 18501 (Visakhapatnam–Kollam) carrying the contraband, according to the RPF. The seized ganja is estimated to have a market value of Rs 2.5 lakh. Preliminary information indicated that the ganja had been brought from Odisha. The operation was conducted under the leadership of RPF senior divisional security commissioner Mohammed Haneef.
