Jhansi : The Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA) showcased the region’s industrial potential and investment opportunities at the fourth edition of the UP International Trade Show 2026 held at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, from Sept 25 to 29. The trade show, organised by the UP govt to promote industrial development, investment and trade, brought together various govt departments, industrial organisations, entrepreneurs and investors. Industrial Development, Export Promotion, NRI and Investment Promotion Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ inaugurated the BIDA stall and later visited it along with the authority’s chief executive officer, Sanjay Khatri. Through a 3D model of its master plan, presentations and informational material, BIDA officials briefed visitors and prospective investors about investment opportunities, connectivity and the world-class industrial infrastructure planned for the region.
Representatives of international investors, including those from Fortune 500 companies in the defence, electronics, renewable energy, logistics and automobile sectors, visited the stall and sought information about investment prospects in Bundelkhand, according to BIDA officials.
The authority aims to develop modern industrial infrastructure, promote investment and create employment opportunities while positioning Bundelkhand as a major industrial investment destination,” Khatri said. “The participation provided BIDA with a platform to showcase Bundelkhand’s industrial capabilities and investment prospects to a wider audience and engage with domestic and international investors and industrial organisations.
