Ahmedabad: The admission process for postgraduate medical courses in Gujarat remains stalled as students and authorities await official schedules following the declaration of NEET-PG results.
Over 15,000 candidates from Gujarat appeared for the exam vying for roughly 3,400 MD and MS seats statewide, with about 7,500 clearing the test. However, complications have emerged as authorities scheduled the release of answer keys and OMR sheets for Oct 1, after the results were already declared. Compounding the delay, approximately 6,200 PG medical seats have been added nationwide, including in select Gujarat colleges.
