Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has revised the dates for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) under the direct recruitment process for constable (civil police) and equivalent posts for 2025 at nine examination centres due to rain and other weather-related conditions.
The PET was scheduled to begin on Oct 1, 2026, at 15 centres across Uttar Pradesh . However, the examination scheduled for Oct 1 at nine centres has now been postponed to Oct 8, 2026. The board said the revised schedule was uploaded on its official website on Sept 29, while revised admit cards for candidates appearing at these centres will be uploaded on Sept 30. The PET scheduled at these nine centres from Oct 3 onwards will be conducted as per the original schedule. Meanwhile, the remaining six centres — 4th Battalion PAC, Prayagraj; 33rd Battalion PAC, Jhansi; 35th Battalion PAC, Lucknow; Dr Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow; 25th Battalion PAC, Rae Bareli; and 45th Battalion PAC, Aligarh — will conduct the PET from Oct 1 as per the original schedule.

The affected centres are 12th Battalion PAC, Fatehpur; 8th Battalion PAC, Bareilly; 9th Battalion PAC, Moradabad; 26th Battalion PAC, Gorakhpur; 37th Battalion PAC, Kanpur; 6th Battalion PAC, Meerut; 47th Battalion PAC, Ghaziabad; 20th Battalion PAC, Azamgarh; and 39th Battalion PAC, Mirzapur. The board has advised candidates to report at the examination centre mentioned on their admit cards on the prescribed date and time. It also clarified that for candidates whose examination centre or date has been revised, the previously issued admit card will no longer be valid.
