NEW DELHI: Protests against chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar have been announced in Delhi and Mumbai and other cities for October 2, with parties demanding his resignation and raising issues concerning the functioning of the Election Commission and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
