Drake Maye, the New England Patriots’ star player, has experienced a pretty slow start to the season after a strong run on the field in the 2025-26 season. The New England Patriots lost against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 1, won against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2 but ended up losing against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3 again. Ahead of the Week 4 clash against the Buffalo Bills, there have been some concerns about Drake Maye’s shoulder injury. A few hours ago, as Drake Maye spoke to reporters after the Week 3 brutal loss, he was asked about whether his shoulder injury could come in the way of his performance in the new season. The 24 year old quarterback added, “So looking forward to get back to playing winning football. That’s the main thing, and knowing that I play a big role in that, and then taking that and taking the bull by its horns,” To make matters worse, New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was officially added to the team’s Week 4 injury report with a right shoulder injury.
To this, the two time Pro Bowler Drake Maye said, “Unacceptable…You’re gonna get banged up every now and then, but at the same time, a lot of guys are banged up. Just hours after practice sessions, Drake Maye weighed in on his injury as he said, “No, it hasn’t [impacted me]. Despite the listing, Maye was a full participant in practice. It hasn’t. And it doesn’t impact my decision-making. That’s what makes and breaks play for quarterbacks.”
