In Kathakinaru panchayat, projects under 14th Finance Commission and CGF schemes, including paver block installations around an Oorani bund and along PHC Street were evaluated. The collector emphasized the need to ensure continuous drinking water supply, proper lighting, and high standards of cleanliness. The collector also examined water body restoration works, including maintenance of Padayappa Oorani in Kallandhiri panchayat, as well as widening of a stream canal in Poigaikaraipatti.
