437 warantees held in Pratapgarh

A 50-year-old wanted criminal was injured and arrested along with his son after an encounter

In the past three months, the police have arrested 437 warrantees. Prayagraj: As part of the ongoing drive, Pratapgarh police on Thursday conducted raids and investigative inquiries at the suspected hideouts of the people with pending warrants.

The drive focused on those wanted or subject to outstanding warrants for a long time, ensuring the effective execution of court-issued warrants, including those related to cases pending since before 2006, family court matters, and other outstanding cases. The number of arrests in different areas was as follows: Lalganj (38), Udaipur (43), Sangramgarh (35), Leelapur (27), Sangipur (8), Kandhai (20), Patt (4), Aaspur Devsara (9), Dilippur (9), Fatanpur (13), Raniganj (36), Mandhata (17), Delhupur (15), Antu (29), Kotwali Nagar (22), Mahila Thana (10), Kotwali Dehat (20), Kohadaur (17), Manikpur (11), Kunda (12), Hathigawan (13), Nawabganj (5), Maheshganj (6), Baghrai (17), and Jethwara (11).
