India's second Vande Bharat sleeper to start running soon — Bengaluru-Mumbai in 16 hours

The railways have moved a 16-car rake reportedly meant for the service to Mumbai CSMT from Bengaluru, where it was manufactured. Bengaluru : After much delay, the railway board is set to notify the Bengaluru-Mumbai CSMT Vande Bharat Sleeper soon.

The flagship train will operate six days a week in both directions and will complete the journey in less than 16 hours, according to the tentative plan. It could depart Bengaluru at 10pm and reach CSMT Mumbai at 1.50pm; and depart Mumbai at 10.30pm to arrive in Bengaluru at 2.50pm. Currently, the Udyan Express, which is the only daily direct train between the cities, takes 24 hours on average.
