Mumbai: A group reportedly of BJP sympathisers organised a counter-rally against CJP on Friday, with around 100 describing themselves as the “Next Gen”, near the statue of Dr B R Ambedkar close to Mantralaya.
The group had initially planned to hold its counter-protest at another location at Shivaji Park at almost the same time as CJP, but shifted the venue to avoid a possible law and order situation, according to the police officials present there.

The counter-protesters raised slogans alleging CJP was the “B-team” and “tool” of the Aam Aadmi Party . They also shouted slogans against Abhijeet Dipke, questioning his educational qualifications and accusing him of misleading the youth. Download the TOI App.
