Nagpur: XSIO Industrial Parks on Sunday announced an additional FDI-backed investment of Rs2,500 crore to develop industrial parks across Maharashtra , with Nagpur serving as the central hub of its operations in the state.

The summit recorded 67 MoUs representing proposed investments of approximately Rs8.57 lakh crore and employment potential of over 2.91 lakh people across sectors. The investment was formalised through an MoU with state govt at the Invest Maharashtra summit, chaired by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis .

The programme is expected to generate approximately 3,000 direct and indirect jobs. Ashish Agrawal, managing director, XSIO Industrial Parks, said, “The additional Rs2,500 crore investment is the next chapter of XSIO’s growth in Maharashtra. The additional investment will expand XSIO’s presence across Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Khalapur, Palghar and Mumbai, catering to precision and complex-process manufacturing, Build-to-Suit facilities, in-city logistics and modern warehousing. We have already made significant investments across Nagpur and Mumbai, and are now expanding our footprint across Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Khalapur, Palghar and other strategic industrial markets.
