NEW DELHI: A woman protester allegedly snatched the keys of a police bus carrying detained protesters during a demonstration in Delhi, preventing the vehicle from moving. A video of the incident has surfaced on social media. The incident took place amid protests in the national capital demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Heavy police deployment was witnessed at the protest sites, with several demonstrators detained during the agitation. In the viral video, the woman approached a police bus that was preparing to leave with detained protesters and managed to snatch its keys. She then ran away with them, leaving the bus stranded and unable to move. Police stopped the protesters as they approached the designated protest site and detained several demonstrators, including Bora.
Meanwhile, All India Students’ Association (AISA) national president Neha Bora was detained by Delhi Police on Sunday while leading a protest march towards Jantar Mantar.
