Sitarist, music producer and mental health advocate Rishab Rikhiram Sharma marked a major milestone with his sold-out debut at London’s Royal Albert Hall, performing to more than 5,000 people. Blending Indian classical music with contemporary sounds, Sharma presented a set that moved from his signature compositions to a striking sitar rendition of Hans Zimmer ’s Interstellar theme, alongside his new Diwali single, Rama Rama . The evening also featured guided breathwork and meditation as part of his Sitar for Mental Health initiative.

The performance was as much a visual statement as a musical one. Sharma appeared in an ivory brocade creation by Amit Agarwal, paired with an elaborate henna sleeve designed with artist Santanu Hazarika. Drawing on Vedic imagery, ancestral symbolism and motifs associated with Lord Shiva, the artwork extended the evening’s exploration of tradition, spirituality and contemporary expression. Among those spotted in the audience were Vedanta’s Anil Agarwal and actor Neha Sharma.

The Royal Albert Hall debut comes as Sharma’s Sitar for Mental Health world tour continues across North America, with upcoming performances in Washington D.C., Toronto, Oakland, Los Angeles and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
