Nashik : Several areas of Upnagar and Nashik Road will face phased power cuts on Tuesday as MSEDCL undertakes maintenance and repair work on two 11 kV feeder lines.
Power supply from the Gandhinagar feeder, originating from the Upnagar substation, will remain suspended from 9am to 2pm. The Deolali Gaon feeder, originating from the Muktidham substation, will be shut from 9am to noon. Areas affected by work on the Gandhinagar feeder include Abhish Nagar, Panchsheel Nagar, Datta Mandir, Deep Nagar, Vidyut Colony, Sahakar Colony, NK Nagar, LIC Society, Chhoti Janata, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, Tagore Nagar, Vijay Mamata theatre area, JK Tyre, Takli Road and Shivaji Nagar. The Deolali Gaon feeder shutdown will affect Madina Chowk, Kadri Manzil, Rani Laxmibai Road, Gadekar Mala, Mathura Road, Deolali Gaon, Somwar Bazaar, Vihitgaon, Budki Road, Shiv Samarth Nagar, Veet Bhatti, Police Line, Sundar Nagar, Surana Chowk, Suvarna Society, Hari Om Nagar and Maheshwari Bhavan.

MSEDCL officials said they could restore supply earlier if the work finishes ahead of schedule. The shutdown may be extended in case of technical delays. Download the TOI App.
