Vivo’s biggest-battery foldable is here
Pre-bookings open today, and sales begin October 13 on the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and partner retail stores. Launch offers include instant cashback of up to Rs 26,400 on select bank cards, no-cost EMI for up to 30 months at retail outlets, and three months of Google AI Pro at no extra cost. It gets an 8.02-inch main display and a 6.51-inch cover screen, both with 1-120Hz refresh rates and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. Its rated capacity is 6,670mAh, and it supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. The telephoto camera uses a Sony LYTIA 602 sensor and supports up to 100x zoom and telephoto macro shots.
The battery uses silicon anode and semi-solid-state tech, which Vivo says helps it hold up in cold weather. The phone comes in Nebula Teal and Prism Black. Video goes up to 4K 60fps with Dolby Vision. Creators get a handy extra: a cover screen teleprompter that runs while recording on the rear cameras.
Vivo has launched the X Fold6 in India at Rs 2,19,999 for its only variant, with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The book-style foldable ships with OriginOS 7, a 6,900mAh battery that Vivo claims is the biggest on any foldable sold in the country, and a camera system led by a 200MP Zeiss main sensor and a Zeiss APO telephoto lens.
