Paytm has partnered with Visa to roll out a set of exclusive discounts for Visa credit and debit cardholders across Metro ticket bookings, mobile recharges, and everyday bill payments, available exclusively through the Paytm app until December 31, 2026. Visa credit and debit cardholders can get 50% off, up to ₹50, on Metro ticket bookings made through Paytm, with no minimum transaction value required. For example, a Rs 100 Metro ticket booked using an eligible Visa card would see a Rs 50 discount applied directly, offering meaningful savings for daily and frequent metro commuters.
This offer can be used twice per card each month.
Starting October 1, 2026, the partnership extends into everyday household expenses as well. Visa Classic Debit and Visa Platinum Debit cardholders can get a flat 10% off, up to ₹100, on payments of Rs 299 or more across a wide range of categories, including mobile prepaid and postpaid recharges, electricity, water, broadband, DTH, gas cylinder, piped gas, and FASTag. Visa Platinum Credit cardholders get a slightly smaller discount — a flat 5% off, up to Rs 100, on payments of Rs 299 or more across mobile recharges, electricity, water, broadband, DTH, gas cylinder, and piped gas.
