She played soccer at the University of Nevada, Reno, before graduating in 2022. Penix and Olivia married on May 2, 2026, at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. The wedding came after the couple got engaged in December 2024, shortly after Penix had established himself as an NFL starter.
In May, he said she helped keep him positive around the house as he recovered from the injury. Olivia Carter, now Olivia Penix, grew up in Washington and has a background of her own in college athletics. Her connection with Penix began during his time at the University of Washington, where he played quarterback before entering the NFL. The pair eventually made their relationship public, with their social media posts giving fans glimpses into their life together. Their relationship continued as he moved from college football to the NFL, and she supported him through the demanding period that followed his knee injury. That support has made her more than a familiar name around the Falcons quarterback’s personal life. For Olivia, the pregnancy adds another chapter to a relationship that has grown alongside Penix’s rise from college quarterback to NFL starter. Their wedding came only months ago. By spring, the couple will have a much bigger change to celebrate.
